This nailer is bottom-loading, which means you pretty much turn the gun upside down to access the magazine and change nails. While this is a good solid gun designed with the home user in mind, there is a safety concern prospective buyers should keep in mind: for reasons we can't quite understand, this model does not come equipped with a safety depression tip--which means that any time a user pulls the trigger (on purpose or accidentally), the gun fires a pin, no matter where the gun is pointing.
